Title

An Ordinance Amending Commerce Municipal Code, Title 19 (Zoning), Chapter 19.07 (Residential Zones), Section 19.07.090 (Second Units) and Replacing with Section 19.07.090 (Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units) -Public Hearing, First Reading

Recommendation

The City Council will consider for first reading and read by title only an Ordinance amending Commerce Municipal Code, Title 19 (Zoning), Chapter 19.07 (Residential Zones), Section 19.07.090 (Second Units) and Replacing with Section 19.07.090 (Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units) in order to comply  with changes to State law related to accessory dwelling units in order to facilitate the building of such units in compliance with state mandates; and adopt a categorical exemption under the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
