AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL ROOFING CO, INC. FOR THE BRISTOW PARK FACILITIES ROOF REHABILITATION PROJECT

Recommendation

The City Council will consider and approve one of two options:

1.                     Adopting a Resolution awarding a construction contract to Commercial & Industrial Roofing Co, Inc. for the Bristow Park Facilities Roof Rehabilitation Project for a total construction contract amount of $255,371 (Option A) and allocating $20,900 to cover the project cost shortfall; OR

2.                     Adopting a Resolution awarding a construction contract to Commercial & Industrial Roofing Co, Inc. for the Bristow Park Facilities Roof Complete Replacement Project for a total construction contract amount of $763,051 (Option B) and allocating $663,100 to cover the project cost shortfall.
