CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XX APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING AGREEMENT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES WITH DEODATE LLC.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council consider:
1. Adopting a resolution to:
a. Approve a first amendment to the agreement for economic development services with Deodate LLC (“Deodate”), as approved in form by the City Attorney, to add $150,000 to the original professional services agreement for a three-year term, until August 11, 2029; and
b. Approve a budget amendment recognizing $150,000 in additional Card Club revenues and increasing Community Development Department appropriations by $150,000 to fund economic development consulting services; and
c. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to take necessary actions to implement these actions; and
2. Take any additional related actions as deemed necessary.
