APPROVAL OF FUNDING FOR THE TEMPORARY VOLLEYBALL/ BASKETBALL STRUCTURE AT BRISTOW PARK
Recommendation
Staff recommend that the City Council consider:
1. Appropriating $2,909,500 from the Measure PC Fund for the construction of a temporary recreation structure at Bristow Park to accommodate volleyball programming and preserve existing basketball operations; and
2. Authorizing up to 15% ($345,000) of the construction cost for contingencies for unforeseen conditions; and
3. Authorizing up to 10% ($264,500) of the total construction cost and contingencies for Construction Management and Inspection Services; and
4. Authorizing Construction Management and Inspection Services pursuant to City’s On-Call professional consulting services agreements.
