Adoption of Resolutions Approving the City’s Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26

Recommendation

The City Council conduct a public hearing and will consider adopting several Resolutions to finalize the City’s fiscal planning for the upcoming year and ensure continuity of operations across all departments and funds: increasing appropriations for fiscal year (“FY”) 2024-25; reappropriating project balances and encumbrances for FY 2024-25; approving the City of Commerce’s Proposed Budget for FY 2025-26; setting the FY 2025-26 appropriations limit; adopting the FY 2025-26 Salary Schedule; and approving the General Fund Reserves and Investment Policy Statement.
