Conditional Use Permit (CUP 25-09)

(CEQA Exemption Section 15332 - Class 32, In-Fill Development)

 

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Planning Commission of the City of Commerce (“Planning Commission”) take the following actions:

 

1)                     Adopt Resolution No. 26-02 approving Conditional Use Permit No. 25-09 to allow the construction and operation of a drive-through lane in association with a new 2,287 square-foot fast food restaurant (Taco Bell) at a currently vacant parcel; and finding the Project consistent with the Commerce Municipal Code (“CMC”), the General Plan, and compatible with surrounding uses; and

 

2)                     Direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) that the proposed project complies with Categorical Exemption Section 15332 - Class 32, for in-fill development projects.
