ISSUANCE OF WRITTEN REPORT PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65858(D) REGARDING TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON DATA CENTERS
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt a Resolution (Attachment 1) and issue this Staff Report as the written report required by Government Code section 65858(d), describing the measures taken to alleviate the conditions that led to the adoption of an Urgency Ordinance (Attachment 2), which established a temporary 45-day moratorium on the approval of data centers within the City.
